The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be on parade Thursday afternoon at the Clark County Fair, in support of the nonprofit Folds of Honor, plus there are motorsports in the grandstands

Are you ready for one of the biggest attractions to ever come to the Clark County Fair?
This is huge.
Literally and culturally.
The Budweiser Clydesdales will be on parade Thursday at the fair.
They will be here to bring joy to fairgoers with performances on Thursday, as well as on the final day of the fair, Sunday. They are also here to support Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders with educational scholarships.
“This is a first at the Clark County Fair,” said John Morrison, CEO and fair manager.
The Clydesdales showed up late Monday night and were on display in their stalls on Tuesday — Military Appreciation Day at the fair — and Wednesday.
Morrison said it was fitting they were here on the day the fair saluted the military.
“We support this famous hitch’s work to raise awareness and financial support to provide help to military and first-responder families,” he said.
On Thursday, the horses, and their Dalmation mascot, will be on parade throughout the fairgrounds at 4 p.m.. A ceremony to recognize the Folds of Honor will be held during the parade, as well.
The Clydesdales are the big attraction Thursday, but there are other highlights, too.
The grandstands continue to wow crowds with motorsports for the rest of the fair’s run. On Thursday, there will be UTV/Side-by-Side Racing, as well as Monster Truck rides. The races are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The daily exhibits, including Ice Age Adventures, Curly the Camel and Friends, the Pirate’s Parrot Live Bird Show, and All Creatures Barnard Races will be open, as well. Dogtown opens at 11 a.m. The carnival rides begin at noon.
Of course, fairgoers should expect big crowds for the Budweiser Clydesdales. And Thursday is not the only chance to see them. They have other places to visit in the region in the coming days, but they will be on parade again Sunday at the Clark County Fair, starting at 11 a.m.
