As Vancouver residents prepare to elect new city leaders, many are questioning whether current officials are effectively addressing the city’s most pressing issues
In a recent Clark County Today opinion column, candidates running for Vancouver City Council shared what they believe are the city’s biggest challenges — from homelessness and housing costs to public safety and government transparency. While some praised the city’s progress and leadership, others argued that current policies aren’t delivering results for residents. As debates continue over priorities and performance at City Hall, this week’s poll asks: how confident are you in Vancouver’s current city leadership to tackle these challenges and guide the city forward?

As of this morning, voter turnout is at 4.74%. We can only hope that percentage starts increasing rapidly, but odds are we will be seeing yet another dismal voter turnout with less than satisfactory consequences.
You get what you vote for. You also get what you fail to vote for, good and hard.
I am disappointed with the current Clark County Council. They are partisan making decisions that the last council would not of let happen. Especially Michelle Belkot and her Charlie Kirk proposal. She was only council member supporting this and it still went through! Where is Sue Marshal when she should be leading?
Than you for your attention to this matter.
IT WENT THROUGH BECAUSE WE THE PEOPLE WANTED IT TO GO THROUGH !!! Are You actually complaining that the Clark County Council gave Honor to Charlie Kirk ? If it makes your left side feel better – the CCCouncil actually tried to stop Belkots/The People’s requests !!! The PEOPLE RULE !
This is SUCH a statistically rigorous poll you have put together. Gather together a large number of gumpy What Boahs pissed off that their privileges are eroding a tiny amount and most of whom live outside the city. Then ask them, “Are you happy with the direction of the City?” Anyone who is torgued that the trash contractor missed their house seven months ago is going to be NEG-A-TIVE and say so.
This is just typical MAGA self-congratulationism.
NOTHING BUTT HATE here with that comment. Ignorance seems bliss.
