With crime, drug use, and homelessness as high as they are, why wouldn’t City of Vancouver want to spend multiple millions of $$$ on the money laundering boondoggle that is Mass Transit? Sounds like par for the course
Just like the bike lanes on Columbia, your vote doesn’t matter. The city will do what they want.
Mass transit is good – it means less drivers on the road and less traffic for those of us that need (or want) to drive.
Don’t let the nonsense culture war fear mongers in.
Bill, You are either naïve or purposely uninformed. “Mass transit is good” ? For whom? The corridor of crime that the Max light rail has created is widely documented and for you to dismiss it as “war fear mongers” is ridiculous. Please take your family and move to Portland immediately where you can bask in your liberal progressive wonderland. There appears to be no limits to what the left would do with other people’s money. Also, do you have any data that supports your claim that mass transit = less drivers on the road?
