VANCOUVER – Kim Hamlik, a Vancouver resident since 1983, has announced her candidacy for Clark County Council, bringing decades of community leadership and a commitment to meaningful, local change. A mother of four, grandmother of three, and lifelong advocate, Hamlik supporters state that Hamlik has a proven track record of delivering results for Clark County.
Hamlik has led the Vancouver Tennis Center Foundation, raising over $300,000 to support youth tennis programs, and serves on the Trauma Intervention Program board, strengthening community safety. Her work with the Veterans Assistance Center, organizing the annual Christmas Store, has directly supported local veterans and their families. In 2023, her leadership was recognized with the prestigious Ed Lynch Honorary Director award from Identity Clark County, honoring her outstanding community contributions.
As a champion for smarter development, Hamlik has led her neighborhood association and advocated for responsible growth and community-enhancing projects like trail development.
