
Students were on the bus when the crash happened, but according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, no one was transported to the hospital
A school bus with elementary school students on board was involved in a crash Friday afternoon in Vancouver. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reported that no one was transported to a hospital.
Fire department personnel and CCSO deputies responded at around 2:40 p.m. to the collision at the intersection of NE 99th Street and NE 76th 23rd Ave in Vancouver. Upon arrival, it was determined that a Pontiac G8 was traveling westbound on NE 99th Street. The bus was traveling southbound on NE 23rd Avenue and was making a left-hand turn onto NE 99th Street. The Pontiac struck the left rear of the school bus as it pulled out into traffic.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains active as of Friday afternoon. Names of the involved parties are not being released at this time.
