
One male was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries
On Monday (Aug. 7) at about 4:57 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to a call of a disturbance with a weapon in the 9100 block of NE 147th Ave. in Vancouver.
Responding deputies located a male with apparent gunshot wounds and rendered medical aid. The male was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Deputies learned the shooting suspect fled in a vehicle prior to their arrival. Based on preliminary information it is believed the victim and the suspect were in an altercation at the victim’s residence prior to the shooting.
The case is being investigated by the CCSO Major Crimes Unit. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, no further information is being released at this time. Further updates will be released when additional evidence and information is obtained.
