
Program provides eligible seniors with an $80 benefit card once a year to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and honey at participating farmers markets and farm stores
VANCOUVER — The Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities of Southwest Washington (AAADSW) announces the opening of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program which provides eligible seniors with an $80 benefit card once a year to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and honey at participating farmers markets and farm stores from June 1 through October 31, 2026.
Participants must apply for the program each year. Older adults can apply through May 15, 2026. Benefit cards will be distributed through a lottery-based application process. After the application period closes, selected (winners) and waitlisted participants will be notified via postcard the week of May 18. Postcards for winners will have instructions on how to receive their benefit cards.
How to qualify
• Be a Clark County resident
• Be 60 years old or older (55+ for Native Americans or Alaska Natives)
• Have income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level.
o $29,526 annually or $2,461 monthly Income for household of one
o $40,034 annually or $3,337 monthly Income for household of two
o For larger households, add $876 for each additional person
How to apply
Older adults can apply by completing a simple application through Meals on Wheels
People. Applications can be submitted online, by mail or in person.

• Complete a paper application and mail it to MOWP, Attn: SFMNP, 1681 C St., Washougal, WA 98671
• Pick-up (or drop off) a completed paper application at one of the locations below:
o Luepke Center 1009 E McLoughlin Blvd, Vancouver (9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Thursday)
o Washougal Center 1681 C St., Washougal (9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday –Thursday)
o The Diner Vancouver 5303 E Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver (8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday)
