This inaugural community bazaar will feature a wide variety of local vendors offering handmade jewelry, woodworking, pottery, crafts, specialty goods, and more
VANCOUVER — The Falcon Baseball Academy, the parent booster club supporting the Prairie High School baseball program, will host the first-ever Extra-Innings Bazaar & Market on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Prairie High School, 11500 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver. Vendors are invited to apply to present at the event.
This inaugural community bazaar will feature a wide variety of local vendors offering handmade jewelry, woodworking, pottery, crafts, specialty goods, and more. The event is designed to bring together community members, artisans, and supporters of Prairie High School while raising funds to support the Falcon baseball program.
The Falcon Baseball Academy hopes to make the Extra-Innings Bazaar & Market an annual tradition, providing ongoing support for Prairie High School student-athletes while showcasing talented local makers and small businesses.
The Prairie Falcons baseball program enters an exciting new chapter this season under new varsity head coach Robert Haensel. Coach Haensel brings 32 years of baseball coaching experience and is already a familiar face within the program, having served as the Prairie High School JV baseball coach for the past three seasons, as well as the Varsity Slow Pitch coach. His leadership and deep knowledge of the game are expected to help continue the strong tradition of Falcon baseball.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend two community events in one stop, as the bazaar coincides with the annual Prairie High School Plant and Greenhouse Sale, a popular event that offers a wide selection of plants grown by Prairie High School students.
“Hosting the bazaar on the same day as the plant sale creates a great opportunity for families and community members to come out, shop local vendors, support student programs, and enjoy a fun day at Prairie High School,” said organizers from the Falcon Baseball Academy.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, explore the vendor booths, and support both Prairie High School baseball and the plant and greenhouse program.
