Ridgefield resident Carley Meuchel offers her support for Brad Benton in his bid for the Charter Review Commission

When it comes to public safety, party affiliation knows no bounds. Every American should want and feel safe to pursue the dreams and life they hold dear whether in their homes, or on the streets. This is a right of every law-abiding American citizen. How do We The People achieve this goal? We make sure to elect people that know our rights come from up above and we participate in the actions that make this wonderful country, state, and county function as God intended.
This November, as voters, we have the opportunity to elect people that will review the Clark County Charter. The Clark County Charter is the governing document of the county. This year in November I’m voting for Brad Benton for District 5, Position 1. Brad knows what needs to be done in order for every American and their families to feel safe and protected in Clark County.
Brad wants funding and staffing levels to be addressed for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office through the charter. He knows the public needs to be safe and that’s why he wants safety as a high priority. Brad knows that the safety conversation is crucial in having happy and healthy families as well as building a healthy rapport with our local law enforcement.
I personally find Brad to be a great leader, family man, and a great person who treats everyone with respect and dignity no matter the age, or ability. I personally have learned a lot from him. A vote for Brad in November is a vote for safety for you and your family.
