
The occupant was able to safely get out of the vehicle prior to Vancouver Fire’s arrival and no one was injured
At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 24), Vancouver Fire Department units were dispatched to the report of a car fire at the 2700 block of Interstate 5 southbound.
Two units from Vancouver Fire responded. Upon arrival, they found a sedan that was fully engulfed in flames. Within 10 minutes the fire was extinguished.
The occupant was able to safely get out of the vehicle prior to Vancouver Fire’s arrival and no one was injured. Three lanes of I-5 were temporarily shut down during the incident.
