Need a ride to Summer’s Best Party?
C-TRAN has got you covered.
In a partnership with four local sponsors, C-TRAN is providing free shuttle service from eight locations to the Clark County Fair.
The fair opens Friday, Aug. 2 and runs through Aug. 11, and the shuttle service will run every day from:
- Vancouver Mall Transit Center
- 99th Street Transit Center
- Fisher’s Landing Transit Center
- Mill Plain Transit Center
- Battle Ground CAM Academy/Lewisville Intermediate School campus
- La Center High School
- Junction Park & Ride, Ridgefield
- Yacolt Road and Railroad Avenue, Yacolt
Fairgoers will be dropped off at the east entrance of the fairgrounds.
People’s Community Credit Union, the Port of Vancouver, ilani, and the Washington State Department of Transportation are sponsoring the shuttle service.
While the fair grows every year, parking does not. The fair shuffles vehicle traffic in and out of the parking areas throughout each day, and during peak times, it can be difficult to find parking.
There are no such problems for those who take up C-TRAN’s offer of the shuttle service.
In addition to free service, anyone who rides a shuttle can receive a coupon for $1 off fair admission when purchased at the gate. Full shuttle schedules are available online at www.c-tran.com/fair.
C-TRAN also has a booth at the fair and will have staff on hand throughout the 10-day run. Visitors are encouraged to stop by for special giveaways during the and information, or to just say hello.
