On April 3 the Clark County Republican Women (and Men!), the largest club in Washington state chartered under the National Federation of Republican Women, presented a check for $3,105.00 to their 2024 Impact Award Recipient Healing Steps.
Healing Steps is a licensed therapy practice, located in Brush Prairie, that integrates horses into treatment creating an unparalleled opportunity for individuals to grow and expand physical, cognitive, and emotional skills necessary to thrive. There are many medical diagnoses and conditions that benefit from occupational and speech therapy that utilizes equine movement (hippotherapy) and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injuries. Visit http://www.healingstepstherapy.org.
Each year, the members of the Clark County Republican Women (CCRW) are presented with the opportunity to vote for one of three nominees for the Impact Award. This year, CCRW members voted for Clark County Search and Rescue to be the 2025 Impact Award recipient. The generous donations of the members and friends of the CCRW make this possible.
