🎧 C-TRAN, Light Rail & the Taxpayer Protection Vote
C-TRAN board members rejected a proposal to shield taxpayers from added costs tied to extending light rail to Library Square.

Supporters argued the Library Square location would better connect with C-TRAN’s bus system, while critics questioned where the additional funding could come from and whether taxpayers could ultimately be left covering part of the cost.
