The closure of Larch Correction Center has been pushed for a few years. Its a totally wrong decision.
We should be getting tougher on crimes and drugs , instead we are backing away and allowing those things to run
rampant. Vancouver is becoming the same garbage hole that Portland is and no one is attempting to
turn it around, simply throwing more money into a “fix” that doesn’t do anything except spend that money. People are afraid to
shop or be in some areas. I’m ashamed of the way that my Clark County looks and the knowledge if I called the police
for any reason if it was for a druggie or theft the police officer has his hands tied. He isn’t allowed to do his job.
