Vancouver Police investigating credit union robbery

Canvass of the area doesn’t turn up suspect

VANCOUVER –The Vancouver Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at a credit union in east Vancouver Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday (Dec. 22), at about 3:55 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to the iQ Credit Union located at 15705 NE Fourth Plain Blvd. for the report of a robbery. A male reportedly entered the credit union, presented a note and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, approximately 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds.

A canvass of the area was done, including a K9 track. The suspect was not located.

Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation.
