
The suspect showed up at the residence unannounced and struck the victim multiple times with a golf club
On Friday (Aug. 30) at 12:49 a.m., Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 4711 NW Division Ave. in Vancouver for an assault with a weapon. The victim, a 36-year-old male, reported he had been assaulted by a family member believed to be his uncle.
The suspect showed up at the residence unannounced and struck the victim multiple times with a golf club. The victim, who was transported to the hospital, suffered multiple lacerations to his head and face.
The suspect left in a newer gray Mercedes-Benz believed to be a rental car. The reason for the assault is still under investigation as is locating the suspect. Probable cause to arrest the suspect for Assault in the 1st Degree has been established.
