WASHOUGAL — The Parkersville Advisory Committee (PAC), in partnership with the Port of Camas-Washougal and the Community Garden Club of Camas-Washougal, invites volunteers of all ages to the annual Spruce Up Day on May 12, 2026.
Starting at 3 p.m., community members will gather at Parker’s Landing Historical Park to protect and beautify this nationally recognized historic site. As a vital cultural landmark, the park requires ongoing stewardship to maintain its heritage trees, rose gardens, and ancestral stories dating back to the 1800s.
“This park is more than just green space; it’s a living history book for our community,” said Vicki Van Vleet Roholt, Port Advisory Committee (PAC) volunteer. “With the support of the Port and our local garden club, we are working to ensure the site remains a beautiful and safe place for families to explore their roots.”
