Biden meanwhile gets ‘ratioed’ in plea to ‘get boosted’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is promising to hold Pfizer and Moderna accountable for falsely claiming their COVID-19 vaccines have had no serious side effects.

At a Republican Party of Florida event Saturday, DeSantis noted his government commissioned a study finding an 86% increase in cardiac-related events in people ages 18 to 39 linked to the mRNA shots, reported Debra Heine of American Greatness.

“So we’re going to be doing some stuff to bring accountability there,” DeSantis told party executive committee members gathered at the governor’s mansion.

He told them to expect official announcements in the coming weeks regarding holding the vaccine companies accountable.

DeSantis signed legislation in November 2021 banning vaccine mandates in schools and businesses.

“We wouldn’t let them mandate on you in Florida,” DeSantis said Saturday.

Other states, however, did not protect workers, and many who were forced to take the experimental shots issued under emergency use authorization suffered serious injuries or even death, the governor pointed out.

“And then what? They’re not allowed to sue or get any sort of recourse when this was something they wanted to do? So this is something that we’re going to lead on in Florida,” DeSantis said.

“We’ve always gotten ahead of these things, and we’re going to continue to do that going forward.”

Meanwhile, President Biden’s Twitter account on Tuesday urged Americans to get vaccinated.

“Even if you’ve gotten vaccinated or boosted, even if you’ve had COVID before – get the updated vaccine to protect you and your family ahead of the holidays,” the message read.

The unintended, overwhelmingly negative response to the tweet, however – known as a “ratio” – reflected the fact that only an estimated 14% of adults have chosen to get the bivalent, omicron-variant-specific booster.

The Washington Post reported last month “a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine.”

The first response to the president’s tweet was: “Even if you got your vax yesterday, or at noon, or half an hour ago, take it again! Because it works.”

Last week, Biden’s secretary of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, tweeted that if “it’s been over 2 months since your last dose, make a plan to get one now.”

The FDA, meanwhile, has taken up Biden’s tactic of scolding Americans who choose not to take the experimental vaccines.

A tweet from the agency’s official account – featuring a photo of a sassy toddler frequently used in memes – reads: “No one likes the side eye! #UpdateYourAntibodies and get boosted today. #MemeMonday https://fda.gov/update. No one likes the side eye!”

I hope De Santis taking this issue on can help elevate it to 2024 campaign issue. Vaccine propaganda for profit needs some serious scrutiny. Big Pharma and Public Health.

At long last, a politician who shows true grit and leadership. What a refreshing change! The Florida Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo, has also shown what s real scientist is.
The exemption from liability, protecting vaccine makers, must be revoked as a matter of priority.

Senator Ron Johnson facilitated an open round-table discussion on the mRNA immunomodulating gene vaccines and Covid-19. Excellent factual information based on science, imparted by scientists.
Again, lies and cover-up by CDC, FDA, etc are exposed using clear irrefutable evidence.

Worth watching – the slides show some autopsy results and statistical data.

At long last an American politician who, thus far, remains true to his word.
I applaud Governor DeSantis for his ethics, courage and compassion.

It has become the ‘new normal’ to distrust politicians and officials because, more often than not, they make false promises and misleading statements. The current administration exemplifies it.

Governor DeSantis, Senators Rand Paul and Ron Johnson give America hope for a healthier future.
My gratitude to them and to the ethical scientists who share their expertise. May the Universe bless you all.

If you guys want to keep denying science, go right ahead. More people died from covid that lived in counties that voted for Trump than had voted for Biden.

Since May 2021, people living in counties that voted heavily for Donald Trump during the last presidential election have been nearly three times as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who live in areas that went for now-President Biden. That’s according to a new analysis that examines how political polarization and misinformation are driving a significant share of the deaths in the pandemic.

Deaths per 100,000 people in roughly 3,000 counties across the U.S. from May 2021, the point at which vaccinations widely became available. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.73 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates.

Ladapo’s recommendation was so far outside mainstream scientific consensus that it prompted immediate online pushback.

Hotez called it another “phony-baloney” advisory by the DeSantis administration intended to raise the Republican governor’s national profile ahead of his election.

“This is much more of a political stunt than it has anything to do with science or protecting the population of the people of Florida … They cherry pick the risks, and they cherry pick the benefits,” said Hotez.

Ladapo did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Bryan Griffin, press secretary for DeSantis, said: “We have no interest in responding to this.”

If Ladapo wanted to spark a scientific discussion, he would have submitted the health department’s work for peer review instead of posting it on the Florida government website, said Dr. Peter Hotez, co-director of Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development and dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

Vaccine experts said the Florida paper raised several red flags: Written anonymously before being released by the Florida Department of Health, the analysis omitted key details on methodology and didn’t examine medical records, only deaths.

“There’s just issue after issue piled up when you look at how this study was conducted and the interpretation of the findings,” said John Brownstein, chief innovation officer at Boston Children’s Hospital and an ABC contributor.

Daniel Salmon, director of the Institute for Vaccine Safety at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, said among those concerns was that Florida looked at deaths up to 25 weeks after vaccination. He called that a “huge problem” because it’s too long and likely impacted by the “seasonality” of outcomes.

“No experienced vaccine safety researcher would have a 20- or 25-week control period,” he said.

“If you submitted that to peer review, any decent journal would reject it,” he added.

The Florida analysis also didn’t mention what medical experts and scientists agree has become evident in the past year: The virus is more likely than the vaccine to cause health problems in young men.

When the vaccine does induce myocarditis, most cases appear to be relatively mild and resolve on their own.

“COVID can cause all sorts of cardiovascular problems,” said Salmon, who said he personally opted to vaccinate his own sons. “So at the end of the day, the benefits (of the vaccine) outweigh the risks and that’s what really matters.”

Hotez and Brownstein agreed, both pointing to larger studies that show the COVID virus can put young men at risk in ways the vaccine does not.

“We know that there’s some concern about myocarditis. But overall, the evidence actually suggests there’s much greater risk of cardiac-related events when you’re unvaccinated,” Brownstein said.

A significantly larger global study is underway to examine the risk of myocarditis by combing through the data collected by more than a dozen of countries. Those results are expected next spring.

When asked about Florida’s position in a CNN interview, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, warned the primary problem was that misinformation was still spreading too easily.

“The enemy of public health, when you’re dealing with a pandemic, is misinformation and disinformation. And unfortunately we have plenty of that,” he said.

Your feelings don’t override the facts.

    Another move by Governor DeSantis:

DeSantis Petitions Florida Supreme Court to Investigate COVID Vaccine ‘Misconduct’”https://default.salsalabs.org/Td894d269-9838-424f-bd45-ceee782f7194/1f3f68f1-1e32-4c05-aaa5-2940af3c4f91

It took an inordinately long time for the CDC to do a U-turn. Faced with a barrage of irrefutable scientific data, it was inevitable.
To release and mandate the bivalent gene vaccine (latest booster) that was only tested on 8 (eight) rodents is not only irresponsible, but a medical crime against humanity.
Open public discussions between scientists of all persuasions are forbidden. What are they hiding?
Any and all matters of health must remain bipartisan. Personally I assess politicians on merit, ie ethics, honesty and compassion, irrespective of which party they belong to. I vote accordingly.
Governor DeSantis has my utmost respect. I wish him and Dr Joseph Ladapo all the very best in their quest for the truth.

“It was reportedly exposed by Dr. Andrew Huff, an epidemiologist and former vice president of EcoHealth Alliance, in “The Truth About Wuhan” book, in which he referred to the pandemic as “the biggest U.S. intelligence failure since 9/11.”
In his book, Huff says the COVID-19 virus was genetically engineered through China’s gain-of-function experiments — which modify the
way an organism functions — funded by the U.S. government, The Sun reported.”

Dr Huff has written a book on this subject. Next on my reading list.

What a revelation. Thought provoking indeed!
It would be logical to assume that more will come to light now that the veils of lies are peeled off, layer by layer.
