
On Sunday, WSDOT’s bridge maintenance crew will close all northbound lanes of I-205 at milepost 30.5, between the SR 500 and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard overpasses, to remove an overhead sign structure
VANCOUVER – Travelers who use northbound Interstate 205 near the State Route 500 interchange should plan ahead for additional travel time.
On Sunday, Feb. 4, Washington State Department of Transportation’s bridge maintenance crew will close all northbound lanes of I-205 at milepost 30.5, between the SR 500 and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard overpasses, to remove an overhead sign structure.
During the closure, all travelers will exit the highway using Exit 30C, for SR 500 west. Travelers will continue northbound in the parallel travel lane alongside I-205, and re-enter northbound I-205 using the on-ramp located north of the Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard overpass.
What to expect
- Sunday, Feb. 4, from 7 to 11 a.m.: All northbound lanes of I-205, between the SR 500 and the Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard overpasses, will be closed.
As with any highway maintenance and construction project, travelers must exercise caution through the work zone. To keep both road users and road workers safe, travelers are asked to have patience and follow advanced warning signs.
