ClarkCountyToday.com launches ‘Your Week in Review’

Reporter Chris Brown offers the highlights from the past week’s news coverage

VANCOUVER — ClarkCountyToday.com is continuing to expand its coverage of Clark County news to better serve the community.

On Friday, “Your News Source with Integrity’’ launched “Your Week in Review,’’ a video feature hosted by reporter Chris Brown highlighting the top news presented in the past week.

Brown, a veteran news reporter of both radio and television, joined the ClarkCountyToday.com staff earlier this month. Brown has made an immediate impact on the news organization’s coverage of the news that matters to Clark County residents and now he taps into his considerable skills to reach readers and followers in a more personal way.

Visitors to the ClarkCountyToday.com website can plan on viewing “Your Week in Review’’ each Friday by 5 p.m. Editor Ken Vance welcomes all feedback via email at ken.v@clarkcountytoday.com.

“Your Week in Review’’ is just the first of many planned future features of Clark County’s fastest-growing news organization. ClarkCountyToday.com was launched in September 2016 and has grown to provide news to as many as 70,000 visitors to the site each month.

Ken Vance got his start in the newspaper industry in 1987 as a reporter at The Columbian Newspaper in Vancouver. Vance graduated from Stevenson High School in Stevenson, WA, and attended Clark College in Vancouver. He worked for The Columbian from 1987-2001. He was most recently a staff member of The Reflector Newspaper in Battle Ground, where he served as editor since 2010 and reporter since 2007. Vance’s work in the newspaper industry has won him multiple awards, including a first place award from the Society of Professional Journalists for in-depth reporting.
