
The cause and nature of the crash is currently under investigation
On Sunday (June 2) at about 2:57 p.m., Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash notification near the 23200 block of NE 209th St. in Battle Ground.
First Responders arrived to find the driver of the vehicle had succumbed to their injuries. The cause and nature of the crash is currently under investigation. Northeast 209th Street was closed for several hours during the investigation.
The identity of the decedent: was later provided by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office as 25-year-old Curtis Anthony Westmoreland, a Brush Prairie resident.
Family members of everyone involved in this incident have been notified. This case is active pending further investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
