Bus collides with car near Skyview High School

VANCOUVER — A school bus carrying no students collided with a car Tuesday afternoon at an intersection near the Skyview High School campus.

According to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office release, the Vancouver School District bus was southbound on NW 11th Ave. turning eastbound on NW 139th Street. Only the bus driver was on board.

A mid-size sedan, operated by an adult male — also with no passengers — was westbound on NW 139th Street turning southbound on NW 11th Ave. when both vehicles collided in the intersection. Both the bus and the car were towed from the scene.

There were no injuries and no citations were issued.
