11-year-old Montana girl safely located in Vancouver after Amber Alert Monday


Vancouver Police found the missing girl just before midnight

VANCOUVER — A Montana girl was located safe by Vancouver Police (VPD) after an Amber Alert was issued following her disappearance. 

On Nov. 16, the Anaconda-Deer Police Department from Montana issued an Amber Alert for 11-year-old Adrianna Carreia.

At approximately 11:47 p.m., Adrianna was located safely by VPD in the downtown Vancouver area and is no longer in danger at this time. The alert for Carreia has been canceled and the vehicle involved with Washington plate BUU3550 no longer needs to be located at this time.

Montana law enforcement said Carreia was dropped off in an alley by her school around 8:30 a.m. Monday but never arrived to class, according to Fox 12 Oregon (KPTV).

Surveillance video obtained by KPTV shows her getting into a red 1995 Toyota Camry with a male driver with dark hair, according to KPTV. According to law enforcement in Montana, Carreia and her siblings were removed from their parents custody.
