A $10 million settlement has been announced by Liberty Counsel, which brought a lawsuit against NorthShore University HealthSystem on behalf of workers who were forced during the pandemic to take the experimental COVID-19 shots.

Officials with the legal team said NorthShore will pay $10,337,500 “to compensate these health care employees who were victims of religious discrimination, and who were punished for their religious beliefs against taking an injection associated with aborted fetal cells.”

The class action case was on behalf of more than 500 current and former NorthShore workers.

The settlement has been filed in federal court in Illinois, and still must be approved by the court.

“This is a historic, first-of-its-kind class action settlement against a private employer who unlawfully denied hundreds of religious exemption requests to COVID-19 shots,” the legal team announced.

“As part of the settlement agreement, NorthShore will also change its unlawful ‘no religious accommodations’ policy to make it consistent with the law, and to provide religious accommodations in every position across its numerous facilities. No position in any NorthShore facility will be considered off limits to unvaccinated employees with approved religious exemptions,” Liberty Counsel revealed.

Horatio G. Mihet, a Liberty Counsel official, said, “We are very pleased with the historic, $10 million settlement achieved in our class action lawsuit against NorthShore University HealthSystem. The drastic policy change and substantial monetary relief required by the settlement will bring a strong measure of justice to NorthShore’s employees who were callously forced to choose between their conscience and their jobs. This settlement should also serve as a strong warning to employers across the nation that they cannot refuse to accommodate those with sincere religious objections to forced vaccination mandates.”

Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver noted, “This classwide settlement providing compensation and the opportunity to return to work is the first of its kind in the nation involving COVID shot mandates. This settlement should be a wake-up call to every employer that did not accommodate or exempt employees who opposed the COVID shots for religious reasons. Let this case be a warning to employers that violated Title VII. It is especially significant and gratifying that this first classwide COVID settlement protects health care workers. Health care workers are heroes who daily give their lives to protect and treat their patients. They are needed now more than ever.”

Another provision of the agreement means that those fired from their jobs will be eligible for rehire if they re-apply.

Those who were fired for not taking the shots will get about $25,000 each, and workers who were forced to take the shots to keep their jobs will get about $3,000 each. The 13 workers who were lead plaintiffs will get an additional payment of about $20,000.

The legal team’s costs are being paid with 20% of the settlement.

So it’s illegal for EMPLOYERS but not politicians to coerce? Remind me again how the framers of this nation’s laws, fearful of tyranny granted mere public servants exemptions from laws like this? Oh, they didn’t? It’s nothing but typical American rhetoric covering their cowardice that keeps us from saving people’s lives?

I’m sorry but I think everyone who was forced to support their families and get the shot because we had no other choice should be entitled to more than $3000. Everyone else who was terminated will receive more than that. Why didn’t they collect unemployment. The whole thing makes me sick $3000 isn’t anything. It certainly isn’t anything for the consequences I may suffer and anyone else from these shots that we were forced to take. I put my family 1st. I could have lost everything. This shot has made me ill since… And what about the 2 years my agency did not pay me for covid at all. What about when all of these people walked out on there jobs who cared for these sick people. Not knowing if we we catch this virus and die. Where is our reward for doing what they want do before.

Because the people intentionally committing illegal acts should compensate us? What kind of child’s game are you playing at here?
Listen carefully now: MANDATING that people ‘get’ untested products in any way is 100% illegal! Absolutely EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN your governments & justice systems KNOW this.
They mandated it anyway because once you commit to lobbying for one person once, you either have to do it for everyone or throw yourselves into prison/admit your crimes. Now who on this list is http://allaregreen.us/ about to do that instead of continue to collect millions of $ in continued payments? Nancy Pelosi? Or Ted Cruz?
Look up Maddie de Garay. She’s one example of thousands. & all the people are still acting like the government that mandated these jabs illegally & the one that Should Compensate us are two different beings.
Well good luck getting the imaginary one who protects us to get the real one that knows what it is doing to compensate people so infantile they would much rather protect their Imaginary Version of politicians than their own children. If we won’t hold them accountable & only ask for them to hold themselves so, well wait harder.
Or with more cow-bell. Just remember it will never happen.

You always had a choice. This may be an unpopular opinion but I have said it since day one. You always had a choice to jab or not jab. Lose your job, you could have sued. Many employers backed down when their bluff was called. It sucks and it is hard but do not say you didn’t have a choice. Those of us who fought against this mandate, who got screamed at for not wearing a mask, who have raised our voice despite being made fun of, etc.. we always believed in our choice. Your choice. We all have it. And we are going to have to continue to exercise it because this circus hasn’t left town yet.

Dude: do you understand what “mandated” means? It means no, you DON’T have a choice. not by declaring so on social media. What are you, five? You all act like it!
You’re acting like children upset at some irrational rule your fathers just decided to impose. You want to have a choice. So like children you just say “nuh-unh” then go about you lives thinking what? ‘Problem solved?’
Not when the people imposing the mandates are adults & not other children!
You have to get the mandates removed before you have a choice. & no, choosing one option or another are NOT choices when they don’t have equal consequences either.
Grow tf up!_ THIS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CE0fMdXjYM was the result of illegal coercion that we are All Helpless Against when you morons think you gain magic powers by declaring yourselves exempt, then walking away.
That is the end result of refusing to handle real problems in a mature, adult manner. Cripes… you expected that what? The jabs would hear you declare yourself free & not jab itself into you? Mandates are created & enforced by human beings who get paid to enforce them, not to allow you choice!

Dude? I do not know what you are railing about. Mandate or not, I still have a choice and my choice is no jab. I am 100% against these mandates and refuse to bow to them. So what are you going on for? I agree the governor etc need to be held accountable and will use my vote to do so. Yes, they are illegal and its a political manipulation game. But here again.. you resort to name calling and calling us children. We aren’t crying and walking away. We are using the tools we have to make our voices known and by refusing to yield to the main stream opinion. Steady your roll, friend.
