The CCAC acts as a liaison between the community and the C-TRAN Board of Directors

You can make an impact on public transportation, add valuable experience to your resume, and receive a free bus pass while serving on the C-TRAN Citizens Advisory Committee (CCAC). 

The committee  acts as a liaison between the community and the C-TRAN Board of Directors. Its members act as volunteers and represent a wide range of perspectives and experiences. 

Among the seats currently open for 2026:

  • Senior Citizen Representative
  • Fixed-Route Rider Representative
  • Low-Income Representative
  • Social Services Representative
  • School System Representative
  • Student/Youth Rider Representative
  • C-VAN Rider Representative
  • Bi-State Traveler Representative
  • Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Representative
  • Developmentally Disabled Rider Representative

New members would serve a two-year term from January 2026 through December 2027. The CCAC typically meets one evening per month for up to two hours. Applications are due Friday, October 10.
