Vancouver Police investigate serious injury collision

The pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital

VANCOUVER – On Saturday (July 21) at about 9:48 p.m., a vehicle traveling northbound on NE St. Johns Rd, passing NE 44th Street, struck a pedestrian who was crossing east to west outside the crosswalk. 

The pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital. The driver remained on scene, was cooperative, and impairment on the part of the driver was not a factor.

The Vancouver Police Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
