Travelers should slow down, stay focused and follow directional signs through the work zone
VANCOUVER – Travelers who use Interstate 205 in Clark County should plan for lane closures and delays.
On Monday, July 21, the Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair and replace traffic sensors along southbound I-205 near Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard in Vancouver.
Traffic sensors are devices placed in the travel lanes that count vehicles, track speeds, measure vehicle sizes, and show when traffic is busiest. This information helps plan future road repairs and improvements to keep travelers safe and moving.
What to expect
- From 10 p.m., Monday, July 21 to 4 a.m., Tuesday, July 22: The left lane of southbound I-205 will close overnight between Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard (milepost 31) and the State Route 500 interchange (milepost 30).
Travelers should slow down, stay focused and follow directional signs through the work zone. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
