🎧 Swift Dam Closed After Vandals Hit Fish Collector Gear
Public access to the dam is not expected to reopen in 2026
COUGAR — Due to ongoing security concerns, vandalism and construction, Swift Dam is closed to public access beginning this Saturday, May 23. Public access to the dam is not expected to reopen in 2026. The public can still access Swift Reservoir at Swift Forest Camp.
This decision comes after several instances of individuals tampering with PacifiCorp property, including equipment that is critical to fish collector operations. Updates will be provided as they become available through public notices posted to our website.
