
Gallery to feature three live art demos
RedDoor Gallery invites the public to experience magic behind masterpieces at its first ever Brush Strokes in Motion where inspiration meets canvas. Continuing through January, represented artists at RedDoor Gallery are performing live art making demonstrations.
This Thursday (Jan. 22) from 3-6 p.m., be inspired by Liz Pike as she adds brush strokes to a large format lily pad pond painting in oils on canvas. Pike is a top selling local artist in Camas and is owner of RedDoor Gallery. “I love painting in large formats,” says Pike. “Sixteen square feet of canvas art promises to make a statement in every home.”
On Saturday (Jan. 24), meet regional award winning oil painter Cheryl Folkers at RedDoor Gallery from 3-6 p.m. Cheryl has won numerous awards for her beautiful works in oil on canvas. On Sunday (Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Diane Gale will perform a live demonstration, decorating with texture on leather hard clay. Gale relocated from Arizona last year and now makes her home and studio in Clark County. Her work in clay is unmatched in this region.
RedDoor Gallery invites art lovers and curious visitors alike to experience the creative process, meet artists and feel the art, up close and personal.
“Our guests will have a unique opportunity to witness the step-by-step transformation – from beginning stages to finished compositions – while engaging directly with the artists about their techniques, inspirations, and materials,” said Pike. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary art reception during each live painting demonstration.

- Saturday, Jan. 31 from 3-7 p.m. featuring Matthew Clarkson: See top selling artist Matthew Clarkson perform a live demonstration of a landscape using alcohol inks on board
