Stephen Randol, a resident of Clark County, Washington, for over 80 years, traded his decaying cancer body for his glorious heavenly body on June 15th, 2025, at 6:30 PM. He was born on February 23, 1945, to Lloyd AKA Russell and Rose Randol in Vanport, Oregon. He graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Washington, in 1964. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1965, serving on the USS Mars in open water during the Vietnam War. He married Georgia (Carletha) Clark in 1972 and then pursued a degree in mathematics at Clark College. Steve worked as a mechanical drafter for 35 years and retired in March 2012. After retiring, he helped raise his granddaughter, volunteered at Northcrest Community church where he was a member for 25 years, played golf, and took a part-time job working alongside his wife as a kitchen cleaner. In the last few years of his life, he played pinochle, put puzzles together, and teased his medical team as they helped him fight his cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georgia, of Vancouver, Washington; two daughters, Dawn Deskins of Vancouver, Washington, and Rosemary Randol of Lynnwood, Washington; his granddaughter, Zayley Deskins of Vancouver, Washington; one stepdaughter, Lynda (Mike) Ralston, as well as his step-grandchildren, Jessica (James), Brittany, and Michael (Sam), and four step-great-grandchildren all of Lynnwood, Washington; and stepson, John Clark, of Everett, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jim, John, Ed, and Tom.

A celebration of his life will be held at Northcrest Community Church, located at 5602 E. Mill Plain Blvd. Vancouver, Washington, 98661 on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 3 p.m.
