Battle Ground residents and others turned out Friday for the lighting of the community tree, the city’s traditional kick-off to the holiday season!
This year’s tree lighting event took place at the Battle Ground Community Center. The festivities began outdoors with caroling led by the Battle Ground High School Choir and continued indoors with hot cocoa and cookies, coloring sheets, letters to Santa and an opportunity to get a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
