Members of the Clark County Council continue their efforts to craft a resolution that clearly condemns legitimate federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers for carrying out their duties under our Federal Immigration laws.

Public officials in sanctuary cities and states across the U.S. continue to assert that their jurisdictions are exempt from cooperation with federal law enforcement, going so far as to advise city and county law enforcement to allow protestors to harass and intimidate federal officers in the execution of our immigration laws. Some of our police departments have been ordered to stand down from their enforcement responsibilities during obvious riots.

Minneapolis has been the poster child for how official city, state and county authorities have exerted resistance to federal immigration policy and how federal enforcement will be applied going forward in sanctuary cities and states across the country.

We have seen insurrectionist rioting in our state, cities and counties by well funded, well trained personnel from organizations that are currently being investigated for their ties to the Chinese Communist Party, similar to what is being carried out by associates of these same groups, and tacitly or actively encouraged by public officials in Minneapolis.

When things got out of hand in the city, ICE Director Homan was dispatched to the city to investigate actions on the part of State City and County officials for alleged conspiracy to obstruct federal immigration enforcement. The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation into several Minnesota officials during a sweeping operation in the Minneapolis, St. Paul area.

The specific officials and offices in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties targeted by grand jury subpoenas include:

Mary Moriarity, Hennepin County Attorney

Tawanna Witt, Hennepin County Sheriff (named as a defendant in a related DOJ lawsuit regarding jail policies).

Kohl Her, St. Paul mayor (Ramsey County)

Officials in Ramsey Counties (general offices received subpoenas seeking records related to public statements and potential “doxing” and “hindering”of federal agents).

Other high profile Minnesota leaders investigated as part of the same probe include:

Tim Walz, Minnesota Governor

Kieth Ellison, Minnesota A/G

Jacob Frey, Minneapolis Mayor

This investigation focuses on whether these officials used public statements or local policies to impede federal agents following a controversial ICE operation that resulted in the shooting of a Minneapolis woman.

The Clark County Council makes the claim in its proposed resolution that it is “disturbed by reported federal immigration enforcement activities and tactics that do not align with the council’s values of transparency and proportionality and that have contributed to fear and loss of trust among residents.” Is the Board able to provide proof of the “reports” that it refers to here; proof that would satisfy a federal prosecuting attorney perhaps? Are your witnesses credible?

The intent of the proposed County Council resolution appears to be a general condemnation of our federal immigration enforcement officers without mention of assigning any responsibility for civil unrest to well organized, well funded, insurrectionist groups like Antifa, The People’s Forum, Code Pink, The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), Answer Coalition, Break Through News and Institute for Social Research, all of which are being investigated for their ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Federal efforts to deport undocumented foreign nationals, especially those guilty of the crimes of rape, murder, child trafficking, drug trafficking etc. are essential to public health and safety.

Efforts on the part of public officials that many see as interference with federal efforts to apprehend and remove from our streets these threats, need to be exposed and discouraged. The Clark County Council anti ICE resolution many reasonable citizens believe is one of these dangerous efforts .

The Chinese Communist Party has declared unrestricted war on the U.S. and the broader free world. Insurrectionist groups who support CCP efforts to defeat us are working together perhaps even with tacit approval provided by some of our public officials to confuse and disable us economically, socially, morally, and politically.

Silence is consent. If possible, please take a moment to share your opinion with our Clark County councilors, and follow Rob Anderson’s Reform Clark County.
