CAM Academy High School student Berina Emina Cehajic offers her support for the Battle Ground School District levy

As a high school student at Cam Academy; I am truly grateful for being able to attend such a wonderful school, where the teachers are very dedicated, encouraging, and help lead the students to success. I stand by my belief that the levy would not only create more programs but offer our district more opportunities to expand other students’ education.
Beginning with the background of the school levy, and what to remember when you are making your decision. First, the levy will help to fund many programs and electives for the students, which can be very beneficial to students who are willing to broaden their studies. Next, the levy would help teachers create a more flexible curriculum, which would allow many students to become very successful. We would have many more sports programs; as well as the highly trained staff who are able to assist the students with emotional needs. The levy would open a new perspective and allow students to grow with their education. In addition, the budget is also a key factor; and as of right now, the savings and goals of the levy are focused on what is needed currently for schools in the district. For some examples, a newly established curriculum, sports, technology expansion, advanced placement classes, and many more amazing programs and services.
Battle Ground Public Schools has one main goal, and that is for all the students to succeed. This levy is funding that goes towards our achievement. It is true, that there are a lot of components to consider regarding what you believe would be best. However, always remember; what can help the students to succeed is more important, and should be the most crucial thought when considering this decision.
