Every now and then, a movie comes along, like Saving Private Ryan, which you know will tear your heart, but you need to see anyway. This is one of those movies.

Abortion’s advocates tell us that abortion needs to be legal to keep it safe for women. But if those advocates refuse to perform health inspections on abortion clinics and verify their safety, are abortion’s advocates really helping women?

Enter Dr. Kermit Gosnell. In addition to his unsanitary conditions, he had untrained, unlicensed staff administering drugs and performing functions that should have been reserved for registered nurses or doctors. Lots of mistakes happened; one person even died. Most atrocious, when the malpractice resulted in the birth of live babies, Dr. Gosnell simply killed the babies. I believe the world has not seen a man this depraved since Dr. Josef Mengele.

Compounding this appalling set of events is the refusal by the mainstream media to cover them. Even today, organizations like NPR refuse to run ads promoting the movie if the ad mentions Gosnell was an abortionist, and few theaters are playing this movie.

This movie takes the form of a crime drama, and it deliberately does not show what could have been very gruesome content. Just listening to the narrated descriptions was disturbing, but this movie needs to be seen anyway.
