The VPD released photos of individuals it is seeking to interview and identify

The Vancouver Police Department is continuing the investigation into the shooting at a house party on July 17 and is seeking to interview additional witnesses and to identify and interview the individuals in the photos released Monday (July 25).

The VPD is continuing the investigation into a shooting in which an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were killed, and a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were injured. All four victims are from Portland. The two injured victims were hospitalized in stable condition and their identities have not been released. The identities of the two deceased victims were identified by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office as Alexander Castagnola (19) and Amadou Keita (18).
The incident began as a party at a residence in the 3600 block of E 11th Street that started at approximately 10 p.m. (July 17), with 15-20 invited guests, and quickly grew to over 70 people by midnight. At approximately 1:20 a.m. (July 18), a verbal altercation between attendees at the party escalated, and four individuals were shot, each sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation by the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit and Safe Streets Task Force is continuing.
