
🎧 Stabbing Victim Hid Inside Vancouver Mall
The man told officers that the stabbing occurred at his apartment, which is in the county, and that he had driven himself to the mall to hide
VANCOUVER – On Thursday (July 23) at about 8 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to the Vancouver Mall after a male called 9-1-1 to report he was inside the mall and had been stabbed. Police located him in the bathroom of a store inside the mall. The man had multiple stab wounds and officers provided medical aid prior to the arrival of EMS responders.
The business where the man was located, and an adjacent business inside the mall, were locked down temporarily while police investigated. The man told officers that the stabbing occurred at his apartment, which is in the county, and that he had driven himself to the mall to hide. Mall surveillance video confirmed that no stabbing occurred inside the mall. The man was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
Based on information that the injuries to the man occurred in Clark County; the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was notified to further investigate.
