
A male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and did not survive
On Wednesday (April 13) at about 4:25 a.m., the Vancouver Police Department responded to a collision at the intersection of SE 117th Ave. and Mill Plain Blvd.
A male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. The male was transported to an area hospital and did not survive his injuries. The driver stayed on scene and was cooperative. There is no evidence of impairment on the driver at this time.
The VPD Traffic Unit was on scene and took over the investigation. Traffic in east Vancouver was impacted for an extended amount of time.
