Vancouver Police investigate death of couple

VANCOUVER — Members of the Vancouver Police Department are attempting to determine the cause of death of a Vancouver couple discovered Wednesday.


On Wed., Jan. 11, at approximately 12 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a residence in the 3100 block of NE 115th Avenue for a report of an assault with a weapon. Family members located the bodies of a 43 year old male and a 39 year old female, husband and wife, in the residence and called police.


Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are investigating this incident and at this time indications are this appears to be a murder-suicide. The identities of the individuals are not being released and the investigation into the cause of death is being conducted by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s office.
No further information is available at this time.
