
Jason Lee Welty was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail for Robbery I, Assault II, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm
VANCOUVER – On Tuesday (Oct. 29) at about 10:30 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the Key Bank located at 13215 SE Mill Plain Blvd. for a robbery. Employees reported that a man entered the lobby with a revolver and pointed it at employees.
The two employees who were in the bank were able to secure themselves inside a safe room. The man took several items from the bank and fled on foot. Arriving Vancouver Police patrol officers located the suspect nearby and he was taken into custody. The bank property and the firearm were located in his backpack.
