At 8:35 p.m. Monday (March 18), the Vancouver Fire Department responded to a house fire at 15513 NE 77th St in Vancouver.
The first-arriving fire engine was there within four minutes to find a fully involved garage fire and two vehicles on fire. Water was applied quickly and the fire was extinguished within minutes.

The house was then searched and checked for fire extension. There were no injuries, however two people were displaced from their home.
A total of 25 firefighters acted quickly to stop a fire that could have consumed the whole residence. The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
