
A witness said an accidental discharge of a firework might have occurred in the garage
On Wednesday (Nov. 2) at 12:06 p.m., the Vancouver Fire Department was dispatched to 8420 NE Lewis Drive for a house fire with a possible explosion in the garage.
The first units to arrive found a single-story house with significant structural damage to the garage. No active fire was found. A witness said an accidental discharge of a firework might have occurred in the garage.

Two occupants were displaced by the fire. There were no injuries reported. The cause and damage assessment are under investigation by the Vancouver Fire Marshal
