One adult male was found deceased in the structure during a search
At 1:36 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 7), the Vancouver Fire Department was dispatched to the report of a house fire at 3218 NE May St. in Vancouver. Vancouver Fire responded with 24 firefighters on nine apparatus and arrived to find a one-story house with fire coming from multiple sides.

A downed power line prevented fire units from parking in front of the house and created an electrical hazard for responders. Initial crews attacked the fire aggressively from multiple hose lines.
One adult male was found deceased in the structure during a search and the Clark County Fire Marshal’s office was on scene to investigate.
