
🎧 Infant Marcello Martinez Recovered; Father Still Wanted
Law enforcement met with the third party and recovered the child, who appears to be happy and healthy
Infant Marcello Martinez was recovered today after a third party notified his mother that his father Raul Martinez had turned over the child. Law enforcement met with the third party and recovered the child, who appears to be happy and healthy.
Raul Martinez was not located with the child and is wanted by law enforcement. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) requests anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 9-1-1. CCSO thanks the public’s assistance and vigilance, along with help from partner agencies in the efforts to recover Infant Marcello.
The Washington State Patrol has issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the CCSO for seven-month-old Marcello Martinez, who was taken in the Vancouver area on Monday (Aug.16). Investigators believed Marcello may have been in danger.
On Monday at approximately 10 a.m., CCSO deputies responded to the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver after a victim reported that 37-year-old Raul Martinez violated a Domestic Violence No Contact Order.
During the incident, Raul allegedly assaulted and robbed the victim. Raul also allegedly assaulted the victim’s seven-month-old baby, Marcello, and took him without permission. Raul is Marcello’s father.
Raul Martinez is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing tight sweatpants, a white shirt, and a blue/green jacket.
Investigators do not have a confirmed associated vehicle at this time.
