
🎧 Free Services, Hot Meals & a Skate Jam in Vancouver
Thrive2Survive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless and those who are in recovery, will host dozens of other organizations in one place, offering helps and services at a wellness event on Saturday, June 27
A Thrive2Survive Community Wellness Event is set for Saturday, June 27, at River City Church in Vancouver.
Thrive2Survive is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless and those recovering from substance abuse. The organization holds several wellness events each year, offering one place for people to receive help in a number of ways.
“Whether you are seeking stability, recovery, employment, or support, this event offers immediate access to services in one place,” according to a flyer promoting the event.
People can get help in youth programs, employment options, recovery resources, mental health services, housing support and more. These services are no-cost help, provided by dozens of partners onsite. There is also a free hot meal.
The wellness event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
There is an added bonus for this wellness event: 360Grindz is holding a Skate Jam across the street after the wellness event. The skate jam is a family event — fun for all ages — scheduled to go from 1 to 4 p.m..
River City Church is located at 2400 E. Fourth Plain Boulevard in Vancouver. The Swift Skatepark is across the street at 2401 E. Fourth Plain Boulevard.
