
Vancouver Police reported that the child that was located inside the vehicle is safe and is being cared for by family members
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department have indicated a recent suspicious death is now being investigated as a homicide.
On Nov. 1 at about 4:25 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the 300 block of N. Blandford Drive for the report of a deceased woman in a car. When officers arrived, they located a female inside the car deceased, and a small child inside the car that did not appear to be physically injured.
On Thursday (Nov. 7), Vancouver Police reported that the child that was located inside the vehicle is safe and is being cared for by family members.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim in this case as 31-year-old Courtney Valencia Clinton of Portland. The cause of death was listed as incised wounds to the neck.
