One suspect in custody after reports of gunfire in Vancouver

Clark County Sheriff’s Office issued shelter in place warning after gunshots

VANCOUVER— On Sept. 24 at 9:18 p.m. Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of NE 88th St and NE 19th Court regarding reports of gunfire in the area.

Due to the high density of the population living in the area, notifications were made to have residents shelter in place while an area check was conducted.

Eventually two persons were detained and one person was booked at Clark County Jail on four counts of reckless endangerment and one count of aiming and discharging a firearm.
