The following weekend the contractor will pave the intersection of Highway 99 and Northeast 99th Street, which will mean closures of Northeast 99th Street at the intersection from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures will take place Fri., Aug. 28, and Sat., Aug. 29. Traffic north and south on Highway 99 will be maintained during the paving.

Travelers are asked to take alternate routes during these closures.

The paving work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if necessary.

Once nighttime paving work is complete, drivers can anticipate daytime single-lane closures as crews return to the corridor to complete replacement of center medians, signing and striping operations and remaining traffic signal work. All construction is expected to be completed by this fall.
