Northeast 134th Street in Salmon Creek was temporarily closed Friday (Sept. 26) at Salmon Creek Avenue as crews worked to repair a large water main break.
The water leak was reported shortly before 10 a.m. Friday morning, and quickly engulfed most of NE 134th Street.

Firefighters from Clark County Fire District 6 were called to help block off the roads as crews from Clark Public Utilities District worked to shut off the pipe.
There was no firm estimate as to when NE 134th Street would re-open. Drivers were forced to find alternate routes.
