
🎧 Lewisville Park Closed After Grand Shelter Fire
Crews from Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue, Fire District 3, and Fire District 10 were able to extinguish the fire but unfortunately the Grand Shelter was destroyed
Early on Tuesday (May 12), a fire was reported at Lewisville Regional Park. The fire has been extinguished, but to ensure safety and not inhibit the work of responders, the park is CLOSED to the public until further notice. Updates will be provided as soon as new information becomes available.
Staff are contacting picnic shelter reservation holders about refunds or moving their reservations to other locations.
According to Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue (CCFR), at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a structure fire at Lewisville Park. The Grand Shelter was fully engulfed in flames.

Crews from CCFR, Fire District 3, and Fire District 10 were able to extinguish the fire but unfortunately the Grand Shelter was destroyed.
The fire appears to be suspicious in nature but no cause has been determined at this time. No injuries were reported.
