The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has responded to three cases involving an abduction of a female in the last two weeks
On Friday (Sept. 9) at about 11 a.m., Mohamed Aly Aboulezz entered an apartment in the Orchards area, assaulted a female victim and then forcibly dragged her from the apartment. Neighbors intervened and deputies responded to the scene.
The victim and neighbors reported Aboulezz was professing his love to the victim as he dragged her from the apartment. Aboulezz was also making threats related to forcible sex and death threats. While deputies were still on scene, Aboulezz sent several messages with death threats to the victim.
Deputies ensured the victim left for a safe location and began making efforts to locate Aboulezz. On Saturday (Sept. 10) at about 9:20 p.m., the victim contacted deputies again because Aboulezz was sending more threats via text.
The victim and her friends worked with deputies to locate Aboulezz and he was taken into custody in downtown Vancouver. After the custody and just prior to transport to jail, Aboulezz attempted to escape from deputies and received minor injuries. Aboulezz was booked on charges of Kidnapping in the First Degree, Residential Burglary and Assault in the Fourth Degree.
The name and address of the victim are being withheld and will not be released. This is still an active investigation.
